Healthcare for your pet and your pocket!

Access to health and medical services is a right of every Australian through Medicare or private health insurance schemes. Pets also deserve the right to health and medical services when they fall victim to illness or accidents from time to time.

The Vetplan concept was developed in this practice in 1988. It has proved successful and there are now franchised practices operating as far away as Launceston and Townsville. Australia wide it is likely that more pets are members of Vetplan than any other health plan.

Vetplan	because it gives you the opportunity to plan a budget for your pets health needs.
Vetplan	is a contract between you and this practice to provide veterinary care for the ensuring 12 months. It is a retainer system that entitles you to a discount.
Vetplan	differs from human medical health schemes in that there is no government backing and it is entirely a contract with us to provide veterinary service.
Vetplan	enables you to purchase a discount on our fees. It provides a system by which members of the plan average the fees between them by pre-paying a deposit.
Vetplan	is an alternative method of paying veterinary fees.

The annual subscription is low because the scheme is conducted entirely "in-house". It is not an insurance company scheme but, as stated below a contract between you and this practice.

The savings are passed on to clients because the aim of Vetplan is to limit the cost of veterinary treatment on the family budget.

Whether you are in Vetplan or not makes no difference to our diagnostic treatment approach. You are our client, your pet is our patient, and our aim continues to be to give the best possible care.

Puppy Pre-School

Puppy Preschool Classes are specifically designed for pups 8-16 weeks of age to help them become social and manageable pets. Contact our friendly nursing staff for further information.

Cat Boarding

We offer on-site cat boarding. Clients may use either of the clinics for boarding. Contact us for further information.

Hydrobath Dog Wash

Owners are welcome to bath their own dogs for a small fee using our hydrobath facilities at both the Fullarton and Cross Road practices.
