Again we have over 50 years of combined surgical experience, the surgery performed in our clinics has included everything from standard desexing through caesarian sections to kidney removal, ureter transplant (relocating the tube carrying urine from kidney to bladder), removal of foreign bodies (everything from golf balls to videotape and ulcers) from stomach and intestines, dozens of fractured legs have been repaired with pins and plates, eyes have been removed, ear canals enlarged, we have even successfully removed a gall bladder full of stones which is an unusual diagnosis in the dog.
We have the equipment and the experience to do all these things. We are equipped with anaesthetic monitoring equipment and we ensure that our surgical equipment is kept up to date.
(We cannot do everything however and do not claim to, for example cataract and spinal chord surgery are referred to a specialist clinic.)

Prevention
Prevention and early improvement in health are much less costly and ultimately more effective than waiting until an animal is obviously ill. Annual "well" pet examinations are one of the most important things owners can do for their pets.
Puppy Preschool Classes are specifically designed for pups 8-16 weeks of age to help them become social and manageable pets. Contact our friendly nursing staff for further information.
We offer on-site cat boarding. Clients may use either of the clinics for boarding. Contact us for further information.
Owners are welcome to bath their own dogs for a small fee using our hydrobath facilities at both the Fullarton and Cross Road practices.
